The real problem is not performance. It is the absence of a system.
As an engineer, you were trained to solve technical problems. Not to apply that same structured thinking to your own career. That is exactly the gap Design Your Career closes.
The Career Clarity Course is not a course full of tips. It is the 6-step DESIGN method applied to your own career, at your own pace.
1Drivers
Uncover what truly energizes you, your career anchors. Without this, every choice is a guess.
2Enablers
Map the competencies you already have. Most engineers underestimate their own strengths, and the 360-degree feedback step usually confirms it, in your favor.
3Strive
Define the role and ambition worth aiming for. Clarity on destination changes every decision.
4Input from Others
Collect structured 360-degree feedback. What others see in you is data. Use it.
5Gap Analysis
Identify the exact skills, experiences, and behaviors standing between you and your next step.
6Next Step
Build a concrete action plan with prioritized steps and a timeline. Not intentions, a system.
This program is for:
✓ Engineers and technical professionals
✓ Specialists ready for a next step, without knowing which one
✓ People who want to work independently, at their own pace
Not for people looking for generic career advice.
Four months of access. About 2 to 3 hours a week.
You work through the six DESIGN steps at your own pace, in an online environment.
Each month you join a live group webinar on a fixed date. Can’t make it live? The recording is available.
The next live group starts 19 November 2026.
You start with Drivers: what actually drives you, apart from what you think you should want. You end with Next Step: a concrete action plan, not an insight you leave on the shelf.
After four months, you don’t just have insight. You have a concrete plan.
— Clarity on what truly drives you
— A realistic picture of your strengths and blind spots
— A defined ambition and target role
— Self-knowledge validated by 360-degree feedback
— Confidence to decide without second-guessing
— A concrete personal development plan
— A clear next career step with a timeline
— More visibility and recognition at work
— A shift from reactive to strategic ownership
— Measurable forward momentum, not vague ambition
— Access to all six modules, for four months
— Monthly live webinars, with replay
— An online environment where you set your own pace
— Networking with other participants on the same track
Previous DYC participants, over 65 to date, rate the program an average 9.0 out of 10 as a recommendation to others.
“The 6 steps” and “clear drivers, tests and definitions” come up most often as the strongest part of the program.
Every design needs an architect. Your career is no different.
I’m Rob Sanders. I spent three decades as an engineer, lead engineer, and systems architect in high-tech environments. Since 2018 I’ve trained and coached fellow engineers.
I struggled with the same question myself: what do I want, and how do I get there.
Applying engineering methods to that question is where Design Your Career came from.

Staying another year in a role that does not fit you costs more than 395 euro, in time, energy and missed opportunities.
Not satisfied with the result? You get your money back. No questions asked.
How much time does this take?
Plan for 2 to 3 hours a week, on your own schedule within the four months.
What if I get stuck without personal guidance?
The live webinars and the online community exist for exactly that moment. Need more than that? You can always move to the Career Development Program.
What if I don’t finish within four months?
Reach out, we’ll find a solution. That conversation costs you nothing.
Do I actually get a concrete result, or just insight?
You finish with a concrete personal development plan. Not an insight you leave on the shelf.
Is this based on personality tests? I’m sceptical about that.
No personality typing. The 360-degree feedback step is structured input from colleagues and managers who actually work with you, not a personality quiz. It is data about how you come across in practice, not a label.
Already know you want more personal guidance? The Career Development Program offers twelve months, group sessions and individual coaching.
100% satisfied, or your money back. Four months to build a plan you designed yourself.
Would you rather stay where you are, or start engineering your next step now?
